15 weeks

So here I am at 15 weeks. I cannot believe that my belly is so big already. I guess that I shouldn't be surprised since my belly was enormous with Kaden. I was just really hoping that I wouldn't get so big this time...but it isn't looking like I am gonna be that lucky. Oh well. I can deal with it.

I had a doctor's appointment today and the heartbeat was strong! The baby was moving all around too. That just made my day hearing that. I have gained 4 pounds since November 6...and I am sure to be gaining much more with Christmas right around the corner! I am still feeling really good. I just wish that we could move into our house. The house is just sitting there waiting for us to move in. We are waiting on a closing date. I am still hoping that it will be before Christmas...but if it isn't, I really hope that we are in it before the new year.

Hope everyone is having a great week!

13 weeks!!!

What a great day! Not only did I make it to 13 weeks, but I also got my Christmas bonus from work and I found out that I don't need to do Lovenox injections until after I have the baby. All in all it was a fabulous day! I know that posts with no pictures are boring...but I haven't downloaded any lately from the camera. I do need to start taking belly shots because I am definitely getting a belly.

I have been feeling pretty good lately. I am still pretty tired...but that's okay. My favorite moment this week was Kaden talking to my belly saying, "I love you, baby." It just melted my heart! He is getting so excited to have a brother or sister. I just love it!

Have a great week! :o)

We made it!

I cannot believe that we have actually made it to week 12!!! I never thought that this day would get here. I know that a miscarriage could still happen, but I really don't think that it will. Since I have now had 4 ultrasounds and everything looks perfect, I am feeling much better about this pregnancy. The baby is measuring right where it needs to be!

On Friday I asked my doctor if I could have an ultrasound before Christmas and she said no. MFM really wants me to be 20 weeks before they do the anatomy scan and tell us what we are having. I did find out that I have yet another blood disorder so I am waiting to hear if I need to be back on Lovenox. My friend has the same three blood disorders that I do and once she was told that she has this our doctor at MFM put her on jobst stockings and Lovenox. I am really hoping that I don't have to. Time will tell.

I am still very tired...but feeling pretty well. I have gained 1 pound and am definitely looking a little pregnant/fat. I did go out and buy some maternity clothes. I got a super cute pair of dark jeans on clearance at the GAP. I can't wait to wear them.

Well I hope that everyone has a great Thanksgiving! :o)

11 weeks (1 day late)

How far along? 11 weeks

Total Weight gain? Not sure.

Maternity clothes? Nope...not yet. Still trying to squeeze into my regular clothes since all of my maternity clothes are in storage.

Sleep? Love it! I am so tired lately.

Best moment this week? Actually feeling like I am pregnant since we are now telling people.

Gender? Not sure. I have no feelings either way yet.

What I am looking forward to? Friday's ultrasound. Kaden gets to come with us!
Your fetus is about the size of a lime and currently enjoys a 1:1 ratio between body and head, and has skin so transparent that blood vessels show right through. But fingers and toes are no longer webbed and hair follicles, tooth buds, and nail beds are forming.

BiG NeWs!!!

I am PrEgNaNt!!!

I have known for over a month now, but I have been so scared to say anything. I figured that I would jinx this pregnancy if I told everyone too soon. I have had three ultrasounds so far and everything looks great! Friday was my last ultrasound at MFM and we got to see the baby in 3D/4D. It was amazing!!! The heartbeat was 154. Poor Kaden couldn't go back and see the ultrasound, but the ultrasound tech did give him his very own picture that said "Hi Kaden" on it. He was pretty excited about that and it has been sitting on display on his dresser ever since we got home. I will be eleven weeks already on Tuesday and my belly is already expanding! Time is just flying by! I guess that the third time is a charm! I just cannot believe that this is my third pregnancy in a year. Now if we can just get moved into our house and get organized. That would be excellent! We didn't have the builders paint the baby's room, so that is our responsibility once we know what we are having. I will be 16 weeks on December 22nd, so I am hoping that we can have another ultrasound before Christmas to find out what this baby is. Jeremy and I would love more than anything to be able to tell Kaden what his little sibling will be for Christmas. Wouldn't that be neat?

Well, be looking for updates weekly on what the baby and I are up to. I know that my mom looks forward to seeing how the baby is growing on here. I love that too! It is just so amazing to me how fast they change. Hope everyone had a great weekend! :o)

Fall activities

I am so sorry that I haven't blogged in a month! I have been super busy with our house painting. Here are some pictures to catch up from the last month. A few weeks ago we took Kaden to a local pumpkin farm to get our pumpkins. It was a lot of fun! There was a hay ride, goats to feed, two corn mazes, a slide, and a ton of pumpkins to choose from. Here are some pics from the farm...

On the hay ride
Jeremy's employer had an appreciation night and we all got to go to the new arena and watch a hockey game. Jeremy and Kaden have never been to a hockey game so they were pretty excited. Here are the two boys...

Doesn't he look super mean?Hope everyone has a great weekend! My mom and I will be painting our laundry room....and then I think that we are done with what we need to do. Hopefully we will be moving into our house within the next three weeks!!!

Another fun filled weekend

This weekend started off by having a rehearsal for one of my best friends who was getting married. I was her matron of honor. Then Saturday all of us girls went and got our hair done and got all prettied up for the wedding. We had such a blast at the reception! It was one of the funnest receptions that I have ever been to.

Sunday morning Jeremy and I took Kaden to a local festival. He had so much fun!

Here is what our house looks like today. I still am in shock how fast it is going! The drywall is in now and I think that paint and siding may be next on the agenda.

Hope everyone has a fantastic week!

Progress

So here is the progression on our house. I just cannot believe how fast it is going up! Earlier today Jeremy and I went to check everything out and we used a ladder to get down to the basement. There are four areas that I want to have in the basement...a playroom, a game room/bar area, a family room and some storage. I think that we have figured out where we want each of these areas to be. We are just so excited!!! Here is what the house looked like last Friday. The last picture is what it looks like today.

And today...with the SOLD sign in front of it! So excited!!!
Hope everyone has a great week! :o)

Fun Times

Last week we had a lot of fun going to numerous events at our local fair. Last Saturday was the Rough Truck Challenge. This was our first year going to this and I doubt that we will go again next year. It didn't keep Kaden's interest for very long. I didn't even get a pictures of it. Oops. Then on Wednesday night we went to the Clashing Combines show. This is a demolition derby for combines. It was awesome! Before that, though, we played games and rode rides. Here is one of Kaden's favorites. I swear that he could jump forever.
This was probably Kaden's next favorite thing to do....shoot the arrows at balloons.
The Super Slide was fun too!

Here is one picture of the combines (sorry, kind of dark)
Thursday night was the Demolition Derby. We all loved this!

Then this past Saturday we went out to dinner for my birthday with my Mom, stepdad, my brother, sister-in-law and my two nieces. We had such a good time! Here is Kaden, Hanah and I blowing out my candle on top of my cookie.

We are Building!

So instead of buying a house we have decided to build one! We are very excited to say the least...and the best part is that we will be in it before Christmas!!! I have been telling Jeremy that I wanted to have our next house by Christmas and we really will. I can't tell you how excited I am to have a dishwasher and a mantle to hang stockings on! Jeremy and I haven't ever had a dishwasher. I had one growing up, but our apartment or our house did not have one. It is the little things that I get excited about. Our new neighborhood has lots of kids and our house is on the last street in the subdivision so there shouldn't be much traffic. We are back in the corner on an outside lot which means that we won't have any neighbors behind us. There is just a big field. We are meeting with the builder tonight to get some questions answered. Today is only day 3 and here is the progress so far...
Day 1
Excavator dug out basement
Kaden "surfing" down the slope
Having fun on the dirt mounds
He climbed all the way to the top of this mound
Day 2
Pouring footers

Day 3
Putting up forms for basement walls
This afternoon the guys were supposed to pour the cement into the forms. I just can't believe how much has happened in three days. I sure hope that they keep making this much progress in the days to come. Hope everyone is having a great week! :o)

First Day of School

Today was Kaden's first day of preschool. Luckily he was very excited to go. There are three boys that are in his class this year that were also in it last year. Two of them are his really good buddies. All summer he has been asking about Cayden and Cole so today he finally got to play with them. Here are a few pictures of him before he left for school...

This is my favorite! He looks so grown up.
Cheese...
And a funny face...
He can't wait to go back tomorrow. That is always a good thing in my book. Hope you all have a great week! :o)

Random Ramblings and Pics

So I have been horrible at posting lately. Since selling our house we have moved in with my Mom and stepfather. It has been quite an adjustment for us all...but it has been going very well. I know that when we leave we are all going to have to readjust...especially my Mom and Kaden. They are loving spending so much time together. And actually I think that my stepdad will miss Bentley. We are actively looking for a house to buy, but we are having no luck. We are kind of being picky because we want a house that we can grow with. None of us want to move again in the next 5 years. I can't believe how stressful moving is. We actually are talking with a builder on Friday night to see if building is a possibility.

In baby news, we are trying I guess. Well...we aren't stopping anything, so when it happens it happens. I am not stressing out about getting pregnant right now because we have so much else going on with finding a house...but if I am not pregnant by the end of the year I think that I will be bummed. Hopefully our time will be soon.

Here are some random pics from the last few weeks...

SOLD!

Yes, that's right...our house is officially sold! We went and closed on it earlier today. I still can't believe it! Now if we could just buy the house that we are waiting and hoping for. I am just sick of the bank/PMI group not giving us an answer. Hopefully soon we will have some good news on that house. We are going to be moving in with my Mom and stepdad in the meantime. Hopefully we aren't there for long. It is going to be a huge adjustment for all of us. I am just so thankful that they are willing to let us move in and even bring the dog. That was our biggest dilemma when looking for places to rent. No one wants any pets. I kind of understand...but it doesn't make it easy for people like us looking to rent.

Well, I hope that everyone is having a great week! We sure are! :o)

So Sorry...

It has been a long time since my last post. Our life is quite busy and stressful right now. We are going to be moving afterall. There were a few bumps along the way with the buyer's financing...but I think that we are good to go now. I talked with my lawyer today and we should know a closing date soon. I just can't believe that this is happening! We put in an offer on a house yesterday, but it is a short sale so we aren't sure if/when we will hear back from the bank. Jeremy and I absolutely love the house and are hoping that it all works out. It is in the town where he grew up...so he is pretty excited that our kids could go to school where he did. Cross your fingers for us. Well I am off to go pack some more boxes. Yay! Have a great week!

Fun 4th Weekend

We had such a busy, but fun weekend! We started off the weekend by taking Kaden to the zoo on Friday morning. We got there right when it opened. The zoo has a new kids area that just opened a few weeks ago so of course we had to check that out. Kaden loved that! Here are some pics of the zoo...

He just loved climbing on the rock wall.

Friday night we went to our friends house to watch the fireworks. Kaden only cared to watch about half of them and then he decided that he wanted to continue to watch his movie in the garage. He felt like he was at the movie theatre with the seats that they have in their garage.
Having fun with Sparklers

Saturday night we went to another friend's house and watched more fireworks and had a bonfire and cookout. Here is the huge bonfire...
This was so big that people driving by would
stop to make sure that everything was okay
Then on Sunday we went to my uncle's house. Kaden fed the fish, went swimming and even caught a large mouth bass.

It was such a fun weekend! Hopefully this weekend coming up won't be so busy. Hope everyone enjoyed their holiday weekend! :o)
