Madagascar LIVE

Last week I took Kaden on a date to see Madagascar LIVE. It was a great show! It was so nice being able to do something with Kaden one on one. I feel like I never get to do that anymore. He even wanted to do it again the next night...so obviously he enjoyed having me all to himself too. Below are some pictures from our night out.

He even wanted to spike his hair. Such a cutie!

Kalahari

On Friday morning my mom, sister-in-law, the four kids and I headed to Kalahari. Jeremy and my brother met up with us after work. We all had a blast! I am not sure what the kids liked more...the waterpark or the arcade games. I think that us adults enjoyed the arcade games too. I won 1,000 tickets on one game. I told Jeremy that now he needs to take me to Vegas since I was having such good luck. Anyway...here are some pics of the weekend.

much fun in the lazy river

I just wish that I would have gotten more pictures of everyone at the waterpark. We do have a video of my brother dislocating his shoulder trying to do some tricks on the FlowRider. I will try to upload that video along with a video of Kaden doing it. I am so proud that he got on the FlowRider. Jeremy wanted to do it too, but decided against it once Chad dislocated his shoulder and had to be taken to the Emergency Room. Other than that we had a great weekend!

Happy Birthday, Jeremiah!

Happy birthday to my husband, my best friend! How crazy is it to think that when we first started dating we were both 18 years old. Now look at us...parents to two wonderful kids and loving every minute of it together. I cannot imagine life without you. You are the best father and husband that I ever could have wished for. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for us. Hope you have had a great day! We love you!

The last 8 months

So after Kinley was born, life got crazy! Obviously, having a newborn adds a whole new thing to life. Kinley was not the easiest baby. She had colic and was not a good sleeper. Jeremy and I never realized how lucky we were to have had an easy baby like Kaden. In June, my stepdad got sick and ended up passing away in July. One day he is walking into the ER not feeling well and then the next thing you know we are attending his funeral. It just doesn't seem fair. He was an awesome person who is missed by us all everyday. After this happened, my mom moved in with us. Her and my stepdad were supposed to be building their retirement home, however, with his passing she decided to build a house right next door to us. She is now settled in her new home. In October we all took a trip to Tennessee. It was a lot of fun! We even had a black bear right below our condo. The adults and kids loved that. Before we knew it, Christmas had came and went...and here we are in February already. Wow! It is just crazy to me how fast the days/months fly by these days. Here are some pics from the last 8 months. Enjoy!

Here we go again

So my goal is to start blogging again...not so much for anyone else, but for myself. I never realized how fun it would be to go back and read all of my previous posts. I can't believe that my first post was back in October of 2008. Hopefully I can take the time to do this. Tomorrow I will post some pics and kind of update what has happened the last 8 months. Have a great night!
