What an Eventful May

May has been a crazy, but fun month. My mom, sister-in-law and I went to see Tim McGraw in concert. Then for Mother's Day weekend my mom and I headed to Chicago to shop the weekend away. We had a blast! We got there Friday evening and went to dinner and then we went to a Cirque show. It was awesome! Then all day and night Saturday we shopped. On Sunday, we ate breakfast and then headed home. My mom and I have never done anything like that before and it was much needed. I can't wait to do it again someday. Thanks, Baby for taking great care of the kids while I was gone. Below is the only pic I took of my mom and I.

May 13th was my brother's birthday. We went to dinner and then we let the kids feed the fish that were nearby. Here are the four kids with Aunt Carah. (Lexi, Kaden, Hanah, Kinley)

On Friday night we went to Pizza Hut for dinner. Kaden has had a super loose tooth for a few weeks. I told him that Uncle Chad always used to pull my teeth for me. Before I knew it, Kaden had walked up to Chad with a napkin in his hand and asked him if he would pull his tooth. Needless to say the tooth fairy made a visit to our house Friday night. Here he is with his missing tooth. It doesn't really look like one is missing because his tooth is already coming in.

Zoo Trip

At the end of April my mom and I took the kids to the zoo. It was a beautiful day for a zoo trip. It was Louie the elephants birthday so we went to see him open his gifts. Here are some pics from our day.

Random Ramblings and Pics

So I have been horrible at posting lately. Since selling our house we have moved in with my Mom and stepfather. It has been quite an adjustment for us all...but it has been going very well. I know that when we leave we are all going to have to readjust...especially my Mom and Kaden. They are loving spending so much time together. And actually I think that my stepdad will miss Bentley. We are actively looking for a house to buy, but we are having no luck. We are kind of being picky because we want a house that we can grow with. None of us want to move again in the next 5 years. I can't believe how stressful moving is. We actually are talking with a builder on Friday night to see if building is a possibility.

In baby news, we are trying I guess. Well...we aren't stopping anything, so when it happens it happens. I am not stressing out about getting pregnant right now because we have so much else going on with finding a house...but if I am not pregnant by the end of the year I think that I will be bummed. Hopefully our time will be soon.

COSI

We woke up early Friday morning and headed to COSI. I went there about 15 years ago and had so much fun! It is just a really neat hands-on place. We went to a show where we learned about explosions and got to see a few of them. We also saw the Rat Basketball. Kaden thought that this was pretty cool. I saw this when I came here when I was little. I couldn't believe that they still had it. There was also a "Kidspace" area that had a bunch of role play areas such as a helicopter, an eye doctor area and a regular doctor office. He loved this area! Here are the pics from our day...

We had such a great time! We will definitely go back someday. There were a ton of school kids there so Kaden was kind of shy when he wanted to do something and all the other kids were surrounding it. Hopefully as he gets older he will get over that. Hope everyone had a great weekend! :o)
