Happy 1st Birthday, Kinley!

Happy Birthday to our precious little girl! I can't believe that you are one already! Where does the time go? You have brought so much joy to our lives. Daddy, Kaden and I love you so very much! You are walking all over the place, even bending down to pick things up and then standing back up and continuing on your way. You "talk" all time. You say mommy, daddy, baby, more, ball and even mamaw. You can be so stubborn at times. You know what you want. Kaden absolutely loves you. He is willing to help you do anything. You love him too. You will lean into people or things when you want to give kisses. It is so cute! Here are Kinley's one year pics...

One Year Ago Today...

I went to the hospital thinking that Kinley would be born. Little did I know that my body and Kinley had other plans. My doc had shut down the pitocin and had given me cervadil. Since this was my second child she did not think that I would need it...but obviously I did. The next morning we started the pitocin again. Here we are one year later celebrating Kinley's birth. Her party was this afternoon. We had a lot of fun! Here are some pics from our day...

Spring Break

Kaden was on Spring Break last week. We had a very fun-filled week to say the least. It started out by us going to Columbus. We had planned to go there to visit COSI and the Columbus Zoo. Plans changed a little, though. When we got there Friday night we just took life easy and had some dinner at Max and Erma's. Then Saturday morning we got around and headed to COSI. Saturday night we went to Dave and Buster's. Wow! What a fun place! I don't know who had more fun, the kids or the adults. We were going to go to the zoo on Sunday, however it was supposed to rain and Kinley had a horrible cough so we decided that the zoo was not the best thing to do...so we decided to go shopping at Polaris instead. Let's just say that the zoo would have been much cheaper. We did have a great time shopping and the kids were all fantastic!

I took the week off too, to be home with the kids. We had a great week! We went to Build-A-Bear at the mall one day. Kaden got a rock-n-roll bear and Kinley got an Easter bunny. Then the next day we went to a local playland and had a blast. Kinley loved swinging...which is a good thing because we have ordered a swingset for our backyard.

Friday night was Kaden's friend birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese's. He had a blast and I think that all the other kids did too! I still cannot believe that he is 6 years old.

On Saturday, Kaden had his family party at our house. He is so lucky to have so many people in his life that love and care about him.

The kids had a blast with this after most everyone left.

After the party was over we decided to head to a local Mexican restaurant to get some dinner. Kaden was so excited that I told our waitress that it was his birthday. He looks so cute in that big sombrero. As you can see, we had a great week! I can't wait to do it again!

Happy 6th Birthday, Kaden!

Happy Birthday to my sweet little man! At this time six years ago you were less than an hour old. How those 6 years have flown! It doesn't seem possible that you can be six. Just crazy! You are such an awesome kid. Yes...you definitely know how to push my buttons, but you truly are a considerate, loving, caring, and funny kid! Daddy and I love you so much! Happy Birthday!

What a Day!

To celebrate Kaden's birthday, Jeremy and I took the day off of work so that we could spend all day with him. We started the day off by going to the zoo. It was a beautiful day to visit the zoo. We got there right when it opened so it wasn't busy at all. All the animals were out and active. Here are some pictures from our zoo trip...

After the zoo we headed home to get Kaden a nap. Once he woke up we left once again and headed to Chuck E. Cheese. He just has so much fun playing all the games there...and so do Jeremy and I. Jeremy won a ton of tickets on a few different games...so we were able to get Kaden some good prizes.

This ride is like a simulator where the seat moves and vibrates. When the seat would vibrate it would shake Kaden's cheeks so much. It was funny! He looks so serious...but he really was enjoying it.

This snowboarding game is definitely his favorite.

Wow! Where has the time gone?! We cannot believe that our baby is already four years old! Our precious little man, we cannot tell you how much we love you! You have changed our lives in a way that we could have never imagined. Everyday you do or say something amazing! We just don't know where you get the stuff from. You are so much fun to be around. We just cannot believe that four years have already flown by. Hopefully soon you will have a sibling that you can teach the ropes to because we would love to have another child like you. The last four years have been a blast with you...and we know that we have many more fun years to come! We love you more than you could possibly know! Happy Birthday, Kaden!
