11 weeks (1 day late)

How far along? 11 weeks

Total Weight gain? Not sure.

Maternity clothes? Nope...not yet. Still trying to squeeze into my regular clothes since all of my maternity clothes are in storage.

Sleep? Love it! I am so tired lately.

Best moment this week? Actually feeling like I am pregnant since we are now telling people.

Gender? Not sure. I have no feelings either way yet.

What I am looking forward to? Friday's ultrasound. Kaden gets to come with us!
Your fetus is about the size of a lime and currently enjoys a 1:1 ratio between body and head, and has skin so transparent that blood vessels show right through. But fingers and toes are no longer webbed and hair follicles, tooth buds, and nail beds are forming.

BiG NeWs!!!

I am PrEgNaNt!!!

I have known for over a month now, but I have been so scared to say anything. I figured that I would jinx this pregnancy if I told everyone too soon. I have had three ultrasounds so far and everything looks great! Friday was my last ultrasound at MFM and we got to see the baby in 3D/4D. It was amazing!!! The heartbeat was 154. Poor Kaden couldn't go back and see the ultrasound, but the ultrasound tech did give him his very own picture that said "Hi Kaden" on it. He was pretty excited about that and it has been sitting on display on his dresser ever since we got home. I will be eleven weeks already on Tuesday and my belly is already expanding! Time is just flying by! I guess that the third time is a charm! I just cannot believe that this is my third pregnancy in a year. Now if we can just get moved into our house and get organized. That would be excellent! We didn't have the builders paint the baby's room, so that is our responsibility once we know what we are having. I will be 16 weeks on December 22nd, so I am hoping that we can have another ultrasound before Christmas to find out what this baby is. Jeremy and I would love more than anything to be able to tell Kaden what his little sibling will be for Christmas. Wouldn't that be neat?

Well, be looking for updates weekly on what the baby and I are up to. I know that my mom looks forward to seeing how the baby is growing on here. I love that too! It is just so amazing to me how fast they change. Hope everyone had a great weekend! :o)

Fall activities

I am so sorry that I haven't blogged in a month! I have been super busy with our house painting. Here are some pictures to catch up from the last month. A few weeks ago we took Kaden to a local pumpkin farm to get our pumpkins. It was a lot of fun! There was a hay ride, goats to feed, two corn mazes, a slide, and a ton of pumpkins to choose from. Here are some pics from the farm...

On the hay ride
Jeremy's employer had an appreciation night and we all got to go to the new arena and watch a hockey game. Jeremy and Kaden have never been to a hockey game so they were pretty excited. Here are the two boys...

Doesn't he look super mean?Hope everyone has a great weekend! My mom and I will be painting our laundry room....and then I think that we are done with what we need to do. Hopefully we will be moving into our house within the next three weeks!!!

Another fun filled weekend

This weekend started off by having a rehearsal for one of my best friends who was getting married. I was her matron of honor. Then Saturday all of us girls went and got our hair done and got all prettied up for the wedding. We had such a blast at the reception! It was one of the funnest receptions that I have ever been to.

Sunday morning Jeremy and I took Kaden to a local festival. He had so much fun!

Climbing up to go down the slide

Here is what our house looks like today. I still am in shock how fast it is going! The drywall is in now and I think that paint and siding may be next on the agenda.

Hope everyone has a fantastic week!

Progress

So here is the progression on our house. I just cannot believe how fast it is going up! Earlier today Jeremy and I went to check everything out and we used a ladder to get down to the basement. There are four areas that I want to have in the basement...a playroom, a game room/bar area, a family room and some storage. I think that we have figured out where we want each of these areas to be. We are just so excited!!! Here is what the house looked like last Friday. The last picture is what it looks like today.

And today...with the SOLD sign in front of it! So excited!!!
Hope everyone has a great week! :o)

Fun Times

Last week we had a lot of fun going to numerous events at our local fair. Last Saturday was the Rough Truck Challenge. This was our first year going to this and I doubt that we will go again next year. It didn't keep Kaden's interest for very long. I didn't even get a pictures of it. Oops. Then on Wednesday night we went to the Clashing Combines show. This is a demolition derby for combines. It was awesome! Before that, though, we played games and rode rides. Here is one of Kaden's favorites. I swear that he could jump forever.
This was probably Kaden's next favorite thing to do....shoot the arrows at balloons.
The Super Slide was fun too!

Here is one picture of the combines (sorry, kind of dark)
Thursday night was the Demolition Derby. We all loved this!

Then this past Saturday we went out to dinner for my birthday with my Mom, stepdad, my brother, sister-in-law and my two nieces. We had such a good time! Here is Kaden, Hanah and I blowing out my candle on top of my cookie.

Hope everyone is having a great week! :o)

We are Building!

So instead of buying a house we have decided to build one! We are very excited to say the least...and the best part is that we will be in it before Christmas!!! I have been telling Jeremy that I wanted to have our next house by Christmas and we really will. I can't tell you how excited I am to have a dishwasher and a mantle to hang stockings on! Jeremy and I haven't ever had a dishwasher. I had one growing up, but our apartment or our house did not have one. It is the little things that I get excited about. Our new neighborhood has lots of kids and our house is on the last street in the subdivision so there shouldn't be much traffic. We are back in the corner on an outside lot which means that we won't have any neighbors behind us. There is just a big field. We are meeting with the builder tonight to get some questions answered. Today is only day 3 and here is the progress so far...
Day 1
Excavator dug out basement
Kaden "surfing" down the slope
Having fun on the dirt mounds
He climbed all the way to the top of this mound
Day 2
Pouring footers

Day 3
Putting up forms for basement walls
This afternoon the guys were supposed to pour the cement into the forms. I just can't believe how much has happened in three days. I sure hope that they keep making this much progress in the days to come. Hope everyone is having a great week! :o)
