Cedar Point

The weekend of July 8th we took a little trip to Cedar Point. It had been a year since Dennis had passed and my mom wanted to spend the weekend with all of us having a good time. She knew that it would be too hard on her to be sitting at home for the entire weekend. Here are some pics of that weekend...

The kids even rode some of the bigger roller coasters. Hanah and Kaden rode the Mine Ride, the Iron Dragon and the Gemini. The last night we were there Kaden even rode the Magnum. I couldn't believe it. That was my very first real coaster and I didn't ride it until I was ten. We bought the picture of us on it. It is priceless to say the least. Jeremy and I are all happy and Kaden is as serious as can be. He says he liked it, though. He can't wait to go back again next year.

We had a great weekend! The only thing that would have made it better was if Dennis was there with us. I know that he was there in spirit, but we would much rather have had him with us.

4th of July

We had a very fun weekend for the 4th. My mom and I went to my cousin's wedding on the 2nd. It was at a winery and was a lot of fun. Then on Sunday we went to my brother and sister-in-laws for a cookout and fireworks. Sunday was spent just hanging out.
